On February 23, 2024, US District Judge Christopher Cooper released his memorandum opinion and order in the groundbreaking case of Giri v. National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Latika Giri's motions for a preliminary injunction against the NBME's invalidation of USMLE scores and class-action certification of the 832 affected USMLE test-takers who had their scores invalidated were both denied.
